Don't come late

Don't be like those lazy people who show up late to events  because they think that the lines would be shorter. Well, those people are nut heads. It is best to come earlier to Disney World, especially for Animal Kingdom, many of the exotic animals are asleep during the day. The best time to see the animals active is early in the morning. I personally find the Animal Kingdom to be the most exotic and exciting park; more than 1,700 animals and the largest animal theme park in the world. So, why would you want to be late to miss the exciting adventure? If you were planning on visiting Blizzard Beach or Typhoon Lagoon, plan on arriving early also, at 9:15 there are no line-ups at all! By noon, there will be tons of families waiting in lines for food or rides. I suggest that around noon would be the best time to take a break, let you kids or grandparents have a nap; everyone can take a break from the extreme heat and humidity; perhaps jump in the pool, and then you will have more energy to enjoy the rides at night. Get out of bed early to enjoy all the exciting rides with family and friends!

Bring your own snack

Disney World is great about having guests bring their own food and drinks into the theme park. It would be a good idea for parents with little kids (or anyone really) to bring their own snacks and drinks. You will never know when your kids will get hungry, and you might not have enough time to stop at a restaurant to grab something to eat. Meals and snacks at Disney World can get pretty expensive, so you would be saving a lot of money when bring your own little munchies. Also, in Florida it can get extremely humid and hot; your kids will want to have something cool to drink all the time, especially with all the walking you do in each park. This problem can be easily solved by bringing your own bottled water or juice boxes and snacks, like trail mix or Goldfish. A fun way to get your little one to drink water instead of splurging on drinks in the parks is to buy them a cool Disney water bottle the first day and have them fill it up for the time you’re there. It can be much better (and cheaper) than paying for drinks in the parks; paying for food in the parks adds up to be one of the largest expenses on vacation at Disney World. If you are going to buy in Disney, however, I suggest water, especially for those of you with kids. Water is calorie free, filler that doesn’t have loads of sugar that can cause your kids to have a sugar rush. From personal experience, I would have to say that soda is a Disney Don’t.

FASTPASS

Tired of the unbelievable long lines for the rides? You are in luck! Disney’s FASTPASS allows guests to make a “reservation” for a popular ride to avoid the long lines. If the wait for a ride is too long, then you get a FASTPASS for a return appointment to enjoy attraction later.  To get a FASTPASS, find a FASTPASS machine for the ride. Insert you admission ticket into the machine and get a FASTPASS coupon with a time of “reservation.” It is easy to use and you and your family will be able to enjoy more rides then waiting in long lines.
